This weeks blog is about the extremely talented videographer John Conway.

I met John during a styled shoot where we worked together on an engagement shoot and instantly clicked. Being so easy to work with and incredibly chilled out, I noted John as someone who would put any couple at ease on thier big day. As we went on to develop our businesses we kept in touch, chatted over cuppas, and worked together to help each other grow and learn and I have to say, he is just a lovely person and one of my favourite fellow wedding vendors to work alongside!

When I started my vendor blog, I just knew he had to be a part of it!

• Tell me a bit about yourself for the readers, who is John when he isn't videoing couples weddings?

"Outside of wedding videography I'm a father to three amazing children, with the latest addition being born in November 2021, so busy busy!"

• Why Videography?

"Videography for me was always a hobby. I was lucky enough to see the emotion videography can capture in my mum and dad's own wedding film, and from then on I wanted to be able to capture that feeling and emotion for others"

• What videography packages do you offer for couples?

"I have a few packages depending on what couples are looking for. My packages all include bridal prep till first dance coverage, with the difference being the type of end film you receive. The most popular package is our documentary package which includes a full ceremony film, all your speeches, as well as your cake cutting and the first dance. I also offer add on's and extras like drone footage, second videographers and extra wedding teasers"

• What is the booking process?

"My booking process is quite simple, simply enquire online through my website and from there I will send over all my packages and offers and you simply select the package that best suits your needs.  Once everything has been signed and deposits are paid we arrange our first of two in person consultations where we chat through your big day! We can also discuss a pre-wedding shoot if you have opted for this too.

• How long does it take for couples to receive thier wedding film?

"Typically wedding films are delivered within 12 weeks. During the peak months of June, July & August this can take up to 16 weeks. However, if you can't wait to see your wedding film I offer an express delivery service where you will receive your film within 14 days of your wedding.

• What is the deposit to book with you?

"I take a £300 deposit to secure the big day!!"

• I'm sure my couples will want a wee sneak preview video - can we use one?
